Weightlifting calluses are odd. I have deadlift hands today, thanks to some heavy rack pulls. And by "heavy" I mean I pulled three plates. Weightlifting jargon! A "plate" is 45 pounds. Put three on each side of the bar, which itself weighs 45 pounds. Tada! 315. This translates to 143kg, oh Eurofriends.
It might seem like a lot but it's nowhere near enough to be competitive.
