Muse? (I'm thinking their last two albums.)

Somebody was jumping up and down about Muse at me the other day. One of my coworkers. My connections to current pop music are kinda tenuous.

Hilariously, shortly after you posted this comment, Pandora played a track from Tomita's Pictures at an Exhibition at me. Tres prog. Tres seventies.

Loreena McKennit Live from Paris and Toronto, specifically "The Highwayman."

Have purchased a couple of McKennit tracks, though not that particular one. Will ponder.

It's the poem "The Highwayman" set to music. Always gives me chills. In general, I recommend the whole album. Her live stuff is much better than the normal recordings. I also agree with whoever said "Night Ride Across the Caucasus". Yep, I really think you'd like this album in particular.

Songs that I might pick would include "Knights of Cydonia" by Muse, Most of the 2005 self titled Apocolyptica album, and for cheek, "I didn't say I was powerful, I said I was a Wizard," by Chiodos. Maybe also "When the Levee Breaks" by Led Zepplin.

Uh. I'm going to think about it all evening.

I agree it should be a song by Loreena McKennit, but I think the song should be Night Ride Across the Caucasus.
