1 Ninth Doctor/Jackie Tyler
No longer 100% Giles! Two stories didn't feature him, and one story wasn't even Buffyverse.

It was not a year for short-shorts; I wrote fewer this year than last. And three of those were connected to larger series.
Works in progress
"The Adventure of the Sigerson Crypt"
Tradition & Protocol
My resolutions for 2007 revisited
Finish "Reconnection" & "Ars Draconis".
Well, I moved each along by one chapter. Argh. I compounded my problem by adding to the list of serial stories in progress.
Add 2 more Giles/Buffy WIPs to the list, since about 100K words of them are on my hard drive right now.
I posted one of the two, Tradition & Protocol. The other remains unfinished and unposted; this is the one in the "Breaking Glass" universe.
Write a meaty Giles/Anya story, and finally understand Anya.
Didn't even come close. I have had no plot ideas for this. Anya matters to "Dust", but alas, not in a happy way.
Write more Giles/Ethan.
At last, a resolution I kept. I have the urge to write even more. And I will, in the Who crossovers.
My resolutions for 2008
Post the next section of T&P.
Finish "Reconnection" & "Ars Draconis".
Do the Remix ficathon again, but otherwise limit ficathon participation to a few key choices.
Finish the Holmes crossover sequel, "The Professor and the Adept".
Write the "Thusia"-verse Cruciamentum story. (For SoG?)
Finish the signet ring story that I started for 2007's Summer of Giles.
Make significant progress on the long story in the "Breaking Glass" universe.
Write a new Giles pairing of some kind: Giles/Wesley? Giles/Joyce? Giles/Anya finally?
Year-end fic meme
Favorite: I'm proud of the three novella-length stories. I'm also pleased with "Fenrisulfr".
Best: "Thusia". I managed to sustain control of the material and tone, and unlike with "Dust on his hands from the sky", there are no sections that make me curse myself for not taking a few more hours to write.
Most underappreciated by the universe: "Gas-Ring Alchemy". There's something about that story that I find sweet, and I utterly love that universe's Rupert. Plus there's all the hidden stuff in it, with the Jungian alchemical tranformation, the color schemes, and the sequence of metals.
Most fun to write: "Paragon", the crackfic challenge response for gileswench. Jonathan's point of view was funny and melancholic at once.
Sexiest: Hrm. Hard for me to tell, because they all stop working for me round about the third draft. I have to hope they retain some heat after editing. "Hazy Solos"? "Helios Hyperion", slow and deep third segment? The "Ally" segment of Blackmail, with the non-kinky hypnosis smut?
"Holy crap, that's wrong even for you": "Anadeixis". I mean, come on. Giles and who? Pure crack.
Fic that shifted my own perceptions of the characters: "Fenrisulfr". Writing this made me think long and hard about Dawn.
Hardest fic to write: The remixathon fic, "A Soft Place to Land". This was the scariest to write as well. Gift fic is one thing, but tinkering with somebody else's baby is terrifying. Huge pressure. The stylistic shifts I made in writing this one, in honor of the source material, ended up being fun, though.
Biggest disappointment: Not finishing part 2 of Tradition & Protocol. I have had so much of it written for so long.
Biggest surprise: Blackmail. I started out with a cracky short fic I intended to be a response to a single prompt in a table. Instead, I ended up with a solid (and one hopes sexy) S4 retelling.
Most telling fic: I'm not entirely sure what this one means. Surely somebody other than me could answer this better? "Dust on his hands from the sky" has the most personal emotion in it.
