Oh noes! Pay it forward meme

The "gift" you send doesn't have to be handmade. It can be fic, icons, whatever.
Fiction, because my icon-making isn't reliable enough. What I'm willing to attempt:
BtVS: Giles gen, any Giles pairing you care to name (Giles/Buffy, Giles/Xander, Giles/Ethan obviously favorites, but I'm agreeable). Buffy gen.
Sherlock Holmes: friendship, mysteries, adventure. If you ask for slash, something weird will happen.
Harry Potter: I'll cross over either of the above with the HP-verse, but I'm not quite up to writing standalone here.
Note the one year clause. I can cope with that.
If you want to repeat the prompt you gave me the other day, this time with commitment from me instead of vague hmmms, go for it.
Existing verses are fair game too. Go nuts.

Buffy&Giles Harry Potter crossover. Will require screwing with the space-time continuum, because I'd like to see it set post-Chosen, and somewhere in one of the first four HP books.
*ponders*
I give you free rein on the plot with the following caveats: you do not have to pair Buffy & Giles, but if you don't, I think they should definitely still be bestest-friends. And I would love to see the two of them on broomsticks. And possibly some Quidditch, even if it's just a pick-up game or a four-man-scramble or something, because there was no Quidditch in book 7 and I was bereft.
I'll post the meme in the morning... right now I'm about to fall asleep on the keybo.............
I think I'll pick book 4, while Hogwarts still had some semblance of routine but the kiddos are old enough to have sensible conversations with. Not sure yet what the Buffy/Giles relationship will be, but gotcha on the having a close and good one of whatever it is. Check on quidditch of some kind.
The fun part of this is inventing a reconciliation between the magic systems of the two verses. Though BtVS/AtS never had a magic "system" so much as a set of immediate plot conveniences.
I have an upcoming two week break between semesters. I might just take the time to work on my own BtVS/HP crossover. *ponders*
